How to choose a vibrating egg that is right for you: our tips
Easter is around the corner and that means it’s time for eggs. Painted eggs, chocolate eggs, and of course vibrating eggs! How do you choose a vibrating egg that is right for you? We will explain it in this blog post.
What is a vibrating egg?
A vibrating egg is a sex toy in the shape of an egg that stimulates your vagina with vibrations. A vibrating egg is often controlled with a wireless remote control. You can use it yourself, but you can also hand over control by giving the remote to your partner.
A vibrating egg is inserted in the vagina. This is an easy process thanks to the smooth material. You can always use water-based lubricant to help it glide inside. The toy is very suitable for use during foreplay. The vibrations will arouse you, and tensing the pelvic floor muscles to keep the egg inside plays an important part in this as well. If the egg is in the right place, it will even stimulate your G-spot. The pull cord makes it easy to remove the vibrating egg.
How do you choose a vibrating egg that is right for you? We will help you by asking you 5 questions.
Question 1: does the vibrating egg need to be waterproof?
Are you the kind of person who likes to play with sex toys in the shower or bath? Or – if you don’t have any experience with that – would like to try it? Then choose a vibrating egg that is waterproof. You might not expect it, but you can recharge the battery of the egg right through its silicone coating. This makes the egg completely waterproof and safe for use in wet locations. By the way, there are also eggs that operate on replaceable batteries, but are still completely waterproof.
Question 2: do you want a simple or innovative vibrating egg?
Besides easy-to-use vibrating eggs with various speeds, there are also vibrating eggs available with additional options. There are eggs you can control with an app on your phone for example. With it, you can even stimulate your partner when you are both in another country! Perfect if one of you regularly goes on business trips. There are even vibrating eggs that vibrate to the rhythm of your favorite music, as well as vibrating eggs that allow you to draw your own vibrating pattern. Or how about a vibrating egg with attached anal balls? As you can see, there is plenty of choice: there are even vibrating eggs that consist of two or more balls that can vibrate together or separately.

Question 3: are you going for wireless or attached wire?
There are vibrating eggs that are connected to a remote control with an attached wire. There are also wireless versions. The type you choose probably depends on your budget. Generally speaking, the wireless versions are more expensive than vibrating eggs with attached wire. The latter is available for no more than 8 to 15 pounds. The disadvantage is that these eggs are not as easy to control by your partner, unless they are sitting right next to you. With a wireless version, your lover can even control the vibrating egg from another room – or while sitting across from you in a restaurant. Wireless vibrating eggs cost about 20 pounds or more.

Question 4: a rechargeable vibrating egg or with replaceable batteries?
Would you rather have a vibrating egg that you can recharge or is it more practical for you to go for a vibrating egg that operates on batteries? There are upsides and downsides to both: you don’t have to carry around a charging cable when you choose an egg with replaceable batteries for example. On the other hand, you don’t have to buy batteries when your egg is rechargeable, and mains electricity always works.
Question 5: which colour do you like?
And finally, the colour. Perhaps this is not as important, but let’s be honest: appearance matters. That is why there are many types of vibrating eggs in various colors. Choose a lovely pastel colour, like lilac or mint green, a classy vibrating egg with a rose gold or silver colour, or go for a darker version, like black or purple. There is a vibrating egg available in every style.
